How to be a member of freemason in Nairobi +254792856259

Greetings Visitor,
You might be wondering why registration fee is payed, this letter is to make you understand why you need to pay fee of Ksh 3000 FOR REGISTRATION in the freemasons world, but before that, let me highlight some of the benefits connected to freemason
Personal development – A variety of development opportunities exist as part of Freemasons also to develop personal skills. Communication skills, personal relationships, leadership and knowledge of Freemasonry form the core of the courses we offer, along with strategic management skills and public speaking techniques.
Social and community development – We offer constant opportunities to socialise and network with other members and within the community. Join in the fun member dinners, sporting events and charity fundraising opportunities where we have the opportunity to do good for our communities and develop long lasting friendships.
Earning and education – The rich heritage of Freemasons Victoria offers you many opportunities to engage with Masonic Symbolism and history. You’ll also gain access to programs of the Lodge of Research, Study Circles and many other exciting programmes.
Career development – We believe career development is important in supporting your personal growth. We offer our members connections to professionals in various industries, leadership development, involvement in events and our Ambassador Program, research skills and so much more.
Having have understood some of the benefits connected to our lodge,
There are some expenses we incur for new members, such include, fees involved in manufacturing the Talisman, printing the Testament, or security for attendees of Freemasons – are the sole responsibility connected to that. Freemasons is not a charity and does not subsidize any person’s costs to improve their lives. The production of any item bearing our name is handled solely by our partners and consultants
There is always an Initiation Fee, and there are annual lodge membership dues. You will be expected to pay the annual dues indefinitely, in order to remain a Member in Good Standing with your lodge.
In Kenya, the initiation fee may be Ksh 10,000 – Ksh 25,000, and the annual lodge membership dues may be Ksh 10,000. A Freemason who joins a lodge has to pay a joining (affiliation) fee, which may be Ksh 10,000. The initial cost for a candidate combines the Initiation (or degree) fee(s), the fee to join the lodge, and the first year’s lodge membership dues.
The costs tend to be higher in Uganda, and lower in the Tanzania.
So, strictly speaking, the joining fee is small, compared to other organisations, and the time spent participating in the work of the lodge (possibly hundreds of hours).
An applicant should certainly be able to afford the cost in money and time, and if there are any concerns or reservations from the applicant (or the applicant’s family), it would seem inadvisable to proceed with the application.
For the intent of the question is “Is it worth the money to get initiated just so I can find out what it’s like?”, I would say that, even if you could persuade a lodge that you were serious, it would be worth it for you. But more importantly, you would be wasting a huge amount of the time and the work of the lodge members.
Visitor, quite a few lodge members spend quite a few hours to prepare for and perform the degree ceremony. So, it would be a costly mistake for a lodge to initiate someone who drops out.
